Vennila Sponge Cake recipe/ Vennila cake/ Eggless Vennila cake/Vennila yogurt Cake

Baking sponge cakes is an art, and sometimes it can be difficult to get the right sponge texture. Generally, all cake recipes need to use eggs to make them soft, so if you bake a cake at home, if it becomes soft and fluffy, you don’t like to use eggs or follow a vegetarian diet. Here you can find the perfect vennila sponge cake with a step-by-step photo guide and detailed instructions with precise measurements to make a soft sponge cake at home very easy. Unlike other vennila cake recipes, this recipe does not use butter but condensed milk. It uses pure curd (yogurt), baking soda, and baking powder to make the cake soft and fluffy. The texture is light and fluffy.

Ingredients:

Yogurt(plain curd)-1/2 cup 115 grm
Powdered sugar-1 cup or 150 grm
vegetable oil-1/2 cup or 100 ml
All purpose flour or maida-11/2 cup or 215 grm
Baking powder-1 tsp
Baking soda-1/2 tsp
Milk-3/4 cup
Vennila essence-1 tsp

Instructions:

1.Today i am going to use heavy bottom wide pot to bake the cake …i have filled with sand and place a stand on the bottom and let it to preheat for 15 min.

2. Before making batter Grease the 6.5″baking tin with oil or melted butter and place a parchment paper on the bottom of it and keep it aside..

3. In a bowl add yogurt ,powdered sugar ,oil and mix well with whisk.

5.Gently mix well with wet ingredients..

6.Add milk gradually to adjust the batter consistency

7.Add vennila essence and mix well until smooth .

8.Put the batter into the greased pan and tap the cake pan to release any large bubbles. .i Cover the baking pan with aluminum foil to get golden color.

9.Put cake pan into the preheated wide pot and bake it for 40 to 50 min

10..Baking time may vary depend upon the vessel you used.
If you baking in oven , Preheat oven and set 180 deg celcious or around 360 fahrenheit for about 40 to 50 min

11.After 40 min check cake with a knife, if the mixture does not stick. it means the cake is done.if the batter still sticks to knife again bake for another 10 min.

12.After 50 minutes, open the lid and check with a knife. Our delicious Vennila sponge cake is always available.
