Chicken curry recipe/Chettinad chicken curry

Hello everyone! !

Chettinad Chicken curry. Chicken curry is a famous food in India.. I often cook at home. you can serve this curry with soft and spongy idly. This curry has a lot of freshly roasted spices and coconut, then they are ground into a fine paste and then added to the chicken. When you make this curry, your whole house will smell very good. . And bachelors and beginners are also easy to prepare. .I cooked the chicken in a pressure cooker, if you don’t have one, just use kadai to cook for a long time until the chicken is cooked.

Ingredients:

Chicken -1 kg
oil -required
onion-1
saunf(fennel seeds)-1 tsp
jeera(cumin seeds)-1 tsp
pepper corns-1 tsp
cloves-5 to 6
cardamom-3 to 4
cinnamon-1″
stoneflower-few
kashmiri chili-3
garlic pods- 7 to 8
Ginger- 2″
Curry leaves
Tomato-2
grated coconut-1/3 cup

Spice powder:
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
red chili powder-1 tsp
coriander powder-2 tsp
garam masala-1 tsp
green chili-1 or 2
salt as required
water as required

Instructions:

1.Add 2 teaspoons of oil to the kadai. Add 100 grams of shallots and onions.

2.After the onions are cooked, add fennel seeds, cumin, pepper, Kashmiri red chilies, cardamom, stone flower, cinnamon, and cloves and mix well.

3.After mixing well, add garlic, ginger and curry leaves

4. Now, the onion is golden. Add chopped tomatoes and fry until mushy.

5.Add grated coconut..

6.Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder and homemade curry powder, and then make it fully crisp… let it Cool spices, add a small amount of water to make it into a fine paste…

7..For making chicken curry add required amount of oil in a wide pan.

8.Add the freshly ground masala paste and boil on medium heat for 5 to 6 minutes.

9.Then add the green chilies and curry leaves

10.Add boiled chicken to it. Boil the chicken and turmeric powder together under pressure for 2 to 3 whistles.

11.Add required amount of salt ..

12.. Let it simmer for 10 minutes until the chicken pieces are mixed with the spice masala.

13..Garnish with coriander leaves

14.Our spicy chicken curry is ready to serve…!!!
